| At 9th Street, the Gowanus Canal is crossed by an unremarkable bridge overshadowed by the soaring elevated tracks of the F train. It's not a particularly pretty overpass, but the collection of small buildings at its base and the silvery, reflective material of the two arched-bases reflected in the water create a wonderful composition. |
