| The town of Peekskill,
NY, did a fine job of beautifying the area around their train station
along the Hudson River. I had gone there a few times looking for a subject
to paint. Late one day, as the skies cleared and people wandered out to
catch the late afternoon sun rays, it occurred to me that this jetty made
an interesting subject against the big, empty sky. Everything is back-lit,
making the sky and departing clouds the bright, but calming force. |
