A familiar sight in 2023 all over Gowanus, what was a light industrial neighborhood in Brooklyn. With a recent re-zoning there are about a dozen new development sites all around my studio. I walk by this one all the time, and it is astonishing how quickly it has gone from a one-story warehouse building to a large high-rise residential building in progress. I do find the colorful construction paraphenalia to be fun to paint!
