New Paintings - Spring blooms in Brooklyn!
After a long, snowy winter, it was a treat to go out with my pochade box and portable easel to indulge myself in pastel-hued views. Visit Cityscapes and Oil Studies and look for images labeled new.


After a year of putting off final touches, I finally found the inspiration and motivation (oh, no! it's spring again!) to do what I needed to do (and knew I wanted to do, just didn't get around to do them). You can see both views of Prospect Park in more detail at my website, one from last spring, and the other a winter scene.

Gowanus Canal named a Superfund site... my paintings get featured

A couple of bloggers, Salon du Schadenfreude and Ink Lake, asked to use my Canal paintings, and the New York Times website hosted a show of images, Ode to the Gowanus Canal (can you find mine? #3, 4 and 5). All of these paintings are sold, sorry!
