Springtime at Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a special treat when the cherry trees start to bloom. Their Cherry Esplanade is an explosion of pink during April. Combined with the bright yellowish green of newly sprouting grass and other plants, and graceful arches of the trees’ branches, the view quickly erases recent memories of the gloomy, cold grey winter.
