| On one of those rare,
dry comfortable days I was driving around Peekskill, NY, looking for
subjects for a Hudson River view painting. At around mid-day, I came
across this Dutch-inspired house perched on this hillside. There was such
an unusually clear light and the colors just sang out - none of the usual
haze that hangs around the city and mutes colors. |
