| Luckily it was warm,
but not hot, because I ended up standing out in the open to paint this
one. Our city's waterfront has improved so much, I could not believe
that there is this wonderful walk/bikeway along the East River. This
painting reminds me of that Hopper painting of the group of people
reclining on lounge chairs all facing the sun. It's as if the downtown
buildings and the Brooklyn Bridge were out sunbathing! |
