| At the annual Mother's
Day event, "Artists on the Hudson", I painted this view of
another painter working on a view of the Sunnyside cottage (home
of Washington Irving). Dramatic shadows raked across the steep hill as the
early morning sunrays just hit the rooftops of the cottage. Before long,
many families arrived to picnic and tour the grounds and the house. |
