| A couple
of other plein air painters convinced me to trek into the East Village
to paint at St Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery. They told me what a lovely
garden (actually the yard with burial vaults with some notables) they
had. Sure enough, volunteers happened to have opened the gates and I
even managed to find a comfy chair - essential since I had my pochade
box with me that day, not my usual Julian easel. |
