| On the left is one of
the few brownstones in Park Slope that I've seen which retained its
window awning, a low-tech, but very efficient way to keep buildings cool
before air conditioners were widely available. The brownstone next door
has a grand doorway with a faux "terrace" above the entrance -
ready for its owner to come out and wave to their minions! |
