After several days of painting in town, I decided to take a short walk downhill and outside of the town’s medieval wall for a view I had noticed on walks back from the local supermarket. I managed to find a shaded place behind a tourist information office where I set up to paint. Aside from the dull din of tourists arriving and leaving regularly, it turned out to be a great place to get a view up at the town perched on its hill.
