Just to get out of town ONE day, since Monte Castello di Vibio is quite small, I went to the nearby village of Doglio. It is astonishingly tiny, pretty much a small fortified former castle with a small church in the center. After walking around the town in about 5 minutes, I decided to paint the farms in the valley below. I can't imagine that more than 50 people live there. And, I think most of them were at the café/bar near the parking lot when I left for the evening - with all eyes on the foreigner!
