Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY, is such a lovely respite from urban life. Ironically, I generally don’t find it interesting to paint there - it’s all green! But in the fall, there is a variety of trees with foliage that turn different colors at different times which make for colorful compositions. This scene struck me as being like a stage set with different characters lined up, ready to take a bow.
