Italy - Umbria 2017

In June 2017 I spent a few joyful weeks in the bucolic province of Umbria in central Italy. For most of that time I attended an artist residency in the small village of Monte Castello di Vibio. I painted plein air, on-site, but touched up a few of the paintings back in my Brooklyn studio. Read about this experience on my blog. I made a few additional paintings back home in my studio - I'm still carrying those images and experiences.

Most of these paintings are oil on canvas adhered to 1/8" MDF board made to museum quality standards, i.e. archival, acid-free materials, and the panel is sealed on both sides. Custom maple floater frames are available, please inquire.
