The colorful storefronts initially attracted me to this block in Park Slope, but then I noticed the dramatic light and shadows on the sidewalk and brownstone buildings thanks to the remarkably large trees along the curb. This captures a peaceful, late summer Sunday afternoon when everyone seems to have left town.
