Union and Smith Streets (commissioned)

A combination home portrait and neighborhood scene, this painting captures an early morning at the corner of Smith and Union Streets, when it is relatively tranquil but still lively. The clients requested that the painting also include their beloved flowering planters and a suggestion of the fun mural around the corner. As I developed the painting, the different passers-by and bicyclist came into being.
