I had shown these new paintings during AGAST, but only got around to adding them to my website today. Been busy with the Salmagundi Club, bolstering their public relations efforts. I forgot to mention that they had accepted two paintings for the Fall Auction and they both sold (they didn't take "Cafe Dore" - perhaps not serious enough?!). Anyway, back to the reason for this post. A couple of sketch paintings, and a finished one of the Brooklyn Bridge and River Cafe. See details on my website.

My first painting to cross the continent! "Fallen Apple Tree and Lilacs" was a sketch painting I did for the Mother's Day "Artists on the Hudson" event at Sunnyside in Tarrytown, NY. Happily it is heading westward, as I type! And soon, a "Brooklyn Bridge" etched print will be heading north to Westchester County.
